With the close of the 2011 LSSC club & NASTAR racing, the following individuals have received LSSC Race Reward Certificates for their hard work and efforts.
In order to qualify, these racers must have had a minimum of two club races. The two best races are added together (which includes the most points for winning in a club race), and in case of a tie, the two handicaps are added together and divided by two. The lowest handicap is the winner. This year Lakeshore had a good turnout with an approximate total of 34% of downhill skiers racing in spite of some very challenging weather at times. The Race Reward Certificates can be used for any LSSC event, and the winners also received printed certificates to keep as a reminder of the positive results of their efforts.

LSSC racers accumulated team points in NASTAR, and LSSC placed 220 out of 1,952 teams for the 2010/2011 season. The racers that received the highest medals obtained the most points for LSSC. The NASTAR divisions are Platinum (top 5% of racers), Gold (top 20% of racers), Silver (top 45% of racers), and Bronze (top 100% of racers). Racers that did not medal, did receive one point for racing.

LSSC Racers also received either NASTAR National Rankings and/or NASTAR State Rankings for their age groups. To receive a state ranking, you must race at least twice, and the 2nd best handicap is used. For a national ranking, the 5 best races are used. The high and the low are thrown out, then the 3 best handicaps are totaled, divided by 3, and that handicap is used. Both state and national handicaps can keep changing as the racer improves.
