NOTE: The trip is full!
Staying at the gorgeous Chalet Landhaus, there are options for both trail and road riding, right from the Hotel. The Sugar River State Trail
winds its way through three other towns (6, 16 and 23 miles from New
Glarus), providing a range of different "lunch destinations" to suit all
levels of biker. These towns include Monticello, home of some of
Wisconsin's finest craft cheese makers. Crossing 14 trestle bridges and
even a covered bridge, the (mostly flat) trail is a marvelous way to
enjoy the early summer Wisconsin landscape. Road riders will be able to
enjoy the rolling hills of the region!
