The best place to be in Chicago in the heat of the summer is out on Lake Michigan. Spend the afternoon on the water. Under the supervision of Greg, a US Coast Guard licensed captain, take the helm of ‘Dragonfly’ and feel the power of the wind in your sails as you cruise along Chicago’s iconic lakefront. The Air & Water show pilots practice the day before the show, so you’ll likely see and hear the Blue Angels soaring overhead without dealing with the crowds or paying extra for the thrill.
Bring along your favorite beverage, lunch, and your bathing suit and towel. Weather permitting, we’ll anchor, swim, and break out some floaties.
The teak interior cabin has a bathroom, kitchen, seating area, and changing rooms. Guests are allowed to bring alcohol in the form of beer, wine, and hard seltzer drinks (no hard liquor policy or red wine, please).
A Participant Waiver is required of each person by the charter company. Cancellations based on inclement weather related to lightning or high wind will be provided a full refund. A limited number of people can sign up, so don’t hesitate. Millennium Lakeside Garage is closest parking.
