About this event
CANCELLED! Insufficient Sign-ups. LSSC will be taking a trip over the President’s Day holiday weekend to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula! One night will be a stay in the Wetmore Munising area offering the great Valley Spur ski area for cross country skiing and snowshoeing and other activities for those not cross-country skiing. Three more nights will be in Marquette with access to several cross-country ski areas with snowshoe trails and Marquette Mountain for downhillers as well as more activities and sights for those who do not wish to ski. Here is the Marquette Noquemanon Trail Network.
This trip does not include transportation. You will need to drive up on your own. We will help coordinate carpooling.
The regular trip package includes: two per room lodging at the Wetmore Munising AmericInn on the first night; two per room lodging at the Marquette Ramada on three more nights; a wine and cheese party.
Lift Tickets & Trail passes are not included to give you the most flexibility and get the best rate. The AmericInn in Wetmore offers a free breakfast. At the Ramada in Marquette, breakfast can be purchased individually at the hotel, or you can eat at several locations within walking distance.
