International Dinner: Demera Ethiopian Restaurant - Wednesday, February 11
Approximately 20 LSSC members gathered for a unique treat- beautifully laid out platters of delicious and healthy Ethiopian food served in communal family style. Following the Ethiopian custom, we normally would have dipped into the platter using injera, a soft pancake-like bread. But with growing CoVid-19 concerns, Julie made sure that we all used precautions (serving spoons) to avoid cross-contamination.
The restaurant was a lovely backdrop for lively conversation, where we could catch up with everyone’s winter adventures.
