Trip Cancelled! Due to peaking COVID rates and concern for the safety of our members, particularly during trip logistics such as travel, lodging, and dining, the board has concluded that we need to cancel our Minocqua Trip. Full refunds will be issued to people registered for this trip by the end of January. LSSC will be again taking a trip over the Martin Luther King holiday to the Mid-West’s premier cross-country ski center at Minocqua Winter Park. Minocqua features over 70 kilometers of trails in the beautiful north woods. You will find plenty to ski trails for all levels of skiers. In addition, MWP offers some great snow shoe trails and a Nordic Center with a restaurant and highly regarded ski shop.
The regular trip package includes: Lamers bus transportation, two per room lodging at the Best Western Plus hotel; trail pass; a wine and cheese party; and dinner on the bus ride home. Please Note; We had an earlier than usual Close Date for Registrations on this trip because we needed to commit to the bus reservation early this year because of COVID-19.
