Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Procedures
The confirmation e-mail states the cancellation policy for that event. Unless otherwise stated in the announcement and the confirmation letter, confirmed reservations can be cancelled at no penalty until 21 days after opening date. Subsequent cancellations will be charged up to the full trip price, as determined by the appropriate trip or activity director, depending on the loss incurred by LSSC. The minimum cancellation penalty will be $20 for weekend trips and $30 for major trips. The minimum cancellation penalty will be $10 for one-day trips, events or activities. No shows will be charged up to the full trip or event price, as determined by the appropriate trip or activity director, depending on the loss incurred by LSSC.

Contingencies
LSSC will not be liable for cancellation/delay of air or ground transportation due to strikes, labor disputes, weather, government actions, or other cause beyond its control. LSSC reserves the right to change mode of transportation or schedules, and participant hereby releases any claims against LSSC regarding cancellation/schedule change.

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival - May 2-6, 2024 - CANCELLED



Much fun is to be had in New Orleans during its Heritage Festival of music, food and good vibes.  We have 10 rooms reserved at The Lafayette, a LuxUrban Hotel by Wyndham, for 20 persons.  The price of $695 per person cannot be beat!  Music is the main theme, with jazz, blues and gospel on the calendar, but New Orleans has many other wonderful attractions.  Food – our hotel has many great restaurants within walking distance. Activities - the French Quarter, the National World War II Museum and many other activities. You will want to fly into New Orleans early, enjoy the Festival that afternoon, and then enjoy an LSSC reception in the evening. A shuttle stop for the Festival is about 2 blocks away. Tickets for the Festival can be purchased online in early January. All meals, beverages, your flight, and entry to Festival, museums, and other activities are not included.  Sign up early – you don’t want to miss this opportunity to be at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival!
