location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

Enjoy a Fun Fall Sunday at Kennicott Grove’s Annual Folk Fest.
3 miles of interpretive walking trails, historic homes; an Interpretive Center, a Native American Village, a Log Cabin, and a Schoolhouse. There will be live folk music, square dancing, a dessert tent, nature walks, gift & craft items for sale, hearty outdoor dining, hayrides, and historic interpretations.
Boat Rental Shop at Tampier Lake, Forest Preserve of Cook County
Enjoy kayaking on Tampier Lake, a beautiful lake in the South Suburbs, with lunch afterwards. Rent your kayaks or canoes at the Boating Center. We will lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards. Lots of free parking at the lake.
We‘re moving the date to Sunday, October 27 at 4PM. Enjoy an evening celebrating Oktoberfest at Edelweiss Restaurant, 7650 W Irving Park Rd, Norridge, IL. Good German food and drinks with the Alpine Thunder providing entertainment. Sign up at lssc.org for a fun time.
