This trail, on County Highway H south of the Village of Palmyra, provides hiking and skiing for skate and classical stride cross-country skiers through a variety of vegetation, hardwoods, pine plantations, open meadows and kettle moraine terrain. There are six different trails of varying lengths and degrees of difficulty, providing great hiking or skiing for all levels of ability. A warming shelter is open every day and convenient parking, vault toilets and a sledding hill are also available at the trailhead. Hiking is not allowed when the trails are snow-covered. Drop by Miller’s Pub for a “tom and Jerry” (a hot, spirited beverage from the 1920s) or your favorite beverage at Miller’s Pub, 134 South Wabash Ave., Chicago on Wednesday, December 10th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner: Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the cherished Italian-American tradition of the Feast of the Seven Fishes – a multi-course seafood dinner experience that includes Chianti, Prosecco, and Pinot Grigio served with dinner to compliment the evening‘s culinary offerings. As you dine, enjoy the soulful sounds of Italian Jazz, featuring a vocalist performing beloved Italian-American standards and festive holiday jazz tunes. Adding to the magic of the night, carolers will serenade guests with a heartwarming set of holiday carols in Italian, bringing old-world charm and holiday cheer to the celebration.

Let’s come together to support the Pilsen community and spend intentionally in the neighborhood! Our main event is a Sunday dinner at 5:30 PM at 5 Rabanitos, a beloved and highly rated restaurant featuring regional dishes from Oaxaca, the Yucatán, Mexico City, and more.
For those who‘d like to make an afternoon of it, we‘re offering an optional private mural walking tour at 2pm followed by time to explore the National Museum of Mexican Art from 4 - 5:30pm.
